Traceability

Delivery Network Transit — Post-Dispatch Traceability

After morning collection + afternoon packing + dispatch, eggs enter delivery transit phase — from evening of day 0 through day 1 (Delhi NCR), day 2-3 (other Indian cities), day 3-5 (international). This page documents what happens during transit, cold-chain continuity protocols, and delivery confirmation processes.

Delivery Network

Hour-by-hour operational timeline.

Hour 12-18 (Evening Day 0)

Delhi NCR same-day delivery completion

Closest market — Delhi NCR. Eggs laid morning, dispatched afternoon, delivered evening. Total farm-to-doorstep time typically under 18 hours. This is the shortest supply chain we operate.

  • Dispatched vehicles travel via Gurugram-Delhi-NCR routes
  • Evening delivery window 6-9 PM preferred (traffic + cool temperatures)
  • Customer notified via WhatsApp prior to arrival (30-60 min notice)
  • Contactless delivery available — left at doorstep with cold-pack if requested
  • Delivery signature or photo confirmation collected
  • Temperature check at handoff — ambient touch verification
Quality Checkpoint:

Shortest supply chain globally — eggs consumed day after laying. This freshness standard is genuinely difficult to replicate by commercial aggregation models.

Hour 18-48 (Day 1-2)

Nearby India Tier 1 cities

Jaipur, Chandigarh, Agra, Lucknow — 300-500km from Haryana farm. Refrigerated road transport overnight. Next-day afternoon delivery typical. Still within 36-48 hours farm-to-doorstep.

  • Overnight refrigerated transport via major highways
  • Single refrigerated truck serves multiple destinations efficiently
  • Next-morning delivery to regional distribution points
  • Last-mile delivery by regional partner fleet — same cold-chain standards
  • Customer WhatsApp notification 2-3 hours before arrival
  • Batch codes on cartons enable customer traceability back to morning of dispatch
Quality Checkpoint:

Temperature maintained 4-7°C throughout 36-48 hour transit. Data logger verifies continuous compliance — no temperature excursions.

Hour 48-96 (Day 2-4)

Far India cities — Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad

1,000-2,000km distances from Haryana farm. Options: (1) refrigerated road transport over 60-72 hours, or (2) air freight via Delhi IGI Airport — 24 hour transit but higher cost. Mix used depending on volume + customer priority.

  • Road transport (majority): 2-3 day refrigerated truck transit
  • Air freight (priority/premium): 12-24 hour transit but limited volume per shipment
  • Mumbai airline cargo: Delhi → Mumbai on multiple daily flights
  • Bangalore: Delhi → Bangalore air freight or road via Hyderabad
  • Local cold-chain partner at destination for last-mile
  • Delivery typically day 3-4 from morning of laying
Quality Checkpoint:

Far-distance transit requires reliable logistics partners. We pre-qualify partners for cold-chain capability — not just promise but verified capacity.

Hour 72-96 (Day 3-4)

Gulf + Southeast Asia international air freight

UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain + Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand. Air freight via Delhi IGI Airport to destination airport cargo handling. 72-96 hour total transit including customs at both ends.

  • Delhi IGI Airport cargo terminal acceptance same-day dispatch
  • Airline cold-chain handling throughout flight
  • Destination airport — Dubai DXB, Doha DOH, Riyadh RUH, Singapore Changi, KL KLIA, etc.
  • Local customs clearance through pre-registered food importer partner
  • Destination country food authority compliance verified (FSA, SFA, MOH, etc.)
  • Last-mile delivery via destination partner refrigerated fleet
  • Customer delivery 3-4 days from morning of Haryana laying
Quality Checkpoint:

International supply chain complexity — yet still 3-4 days total vs 2-4 weeks old supermarket eggs at destination. Freshness advantage remains substantial.

Hour 96-120 (Day 4-5)

Africa + UK exploratory routes

Kenya (Nairobi operational), UK + South Africa (exploratory). Longer transit times + regulatory complexity add days. Currently handled case-by-case for serious customers + B2B partnerships rather than routine retail subscription.

  • Kenya Nairobi: 4-5 day transit via Delhi-Nairobi air freight
  • South Africa Johannesburg: 5-6 day transit when operational
  • UK London: regulatory partnership needed for commercial supply
  • Destination country-specific handling protocols
  • Case-by-case coordination rather than routine pipeline (reflecting market development stage)
Quality Checkpoint:

Honest operational transparency — not all markets operate as turnkey daily pipelines. UK + SA remain exploratory; Kenya operational but lower volume.

Throughout Transit

Continuous temperature monitoring

Electronic data loggers travel with shipments recording temperature every 5-15 minutes throughout transit. On delivery, data downloadable + verifiable. Any temperature excursions outside 4-7°C range flagged.

  • MKT (Mean Kinetic Temperature) calculated from logger data
  • Excursions above 10°C for more than 30 minutes flagged for review
  • Customer receives logger data on request
  • Persistent issues with specific route trigger corrective action or alternative routing
  • Regulatory standards (FSSAI, destination country food authority) met through this monitoring
Quality Checkpoint:

Verifiable cold-chain compliance — not just marketing claim. Actual electronic data customer can review.

Customer Receipt

Delivery confirmation + quality check

At customer doorstep, delivery completed with confirmation. Customer can optionally perform quick quality check — shell integrity verification + simple float test. Any issues reported within 24 hours for resolution.

  • Signature or photo confirmation of delivery
  • WhatsApp acknowledgment option — quick confirmation from customer
  • Quality issue resolution — refund or replacement for legitimate problems
  • Feedback request for service improvement
  • Subscription customers auto-scheduled for next week
Quality Checkpoint:

Customer can verify freshness immediately. Fresh eggs sink flat in water (float test); 3+ week old eggs stand upright or float. Our eggs reliably sink flat.

How this is verified.

Our operational transparency isn't just claims — here's how each element is verified through documentation, audits, and third-party confirmation.

Electronic temperature logs Data loggers accompany shipments. Customer can request logger data to verify cold-chain — unusual transparency for egg supply.
Customer delivery confirmation Signature/photo confirmation + WhatsApp acknowledgment creates audit trail of delivery completion.
Freshness verifiable by customer Float test + visual inspection + smell test at customer end. Our fresh eggs pass all customer-side quality checks.
Regulatory audit trails FSSAI, APEDA, destination country food authorities can audit chain-of-custody if investigating food safety concerns.
Route performance metrics Cold-chain excursions, delivery time reliability, customer-reported issues tracked for continuous improvement.
Common Questions

Traceability FAQs.

How do I verify the cold-chain was maintained?
Request temperature logger data for your shipment. We provide upon request. Shows temperature throughout transit every 5-15 minutes. Any 'excursions' outside 4-7°C range documented.
What if my shipment is delayed?
Proactive WhatsApp communication with updated delivery estimate. Causes + mitigation transparent. Customer decides to wait, reschedule, or cancel based on situation. Not left guessing.
Why does international delivery take 72-96 hours vs 24 for Delhi?
Distance + logistics complexity. Delhi NCR is 100-150km; Dubai is 2,500km+ requiring air freight + customs clearance at both ends. Time investment reflects genuine operational reality, not inefficiency.
Can I track my specific shipment?
Basic tracking via WhatsApp + driver contact. We don't have full shipment tracking app like major logistics companies — scale doesn't justify that investment. Voice/WhatsApp communication fills role adequately.
What's the shelf life after I receive eggs?
Refrigerated at home (4-7°C), our eggs remain fresh 3-4 weeks from pack date. Because you receive them 1-5 days old (vs supermarket 2-4 weeks old), you have significantly longer consumption window.
Do Sunday deliveries cost more?
Limited Sunday delivery — most subscription routes operate Monday-Saturday. Special Sunday requirements may have surcharge for dedicated delivery. Most efficiently served by Saturday delivery instead.
Are there routes where cold-chain is risky?
Longer-distance routes (Mumbai, Bangalore) with road transit in summer peak (May-June) require extra monitoring + ice pack supplementation. Air freight preferred for peak summer in these routes despite higher cost.
What happens if eggs arrive broken or bad?
Contact via WhatsApp within 24 hours with photo. Refund or replacement shipment. We stand behind delivered product quality. Rare issue but handled reliably when it occurs.
